Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400g linguine
- 250 g sugar snap peas
- 1 handful of walnuts, chopped and roasted
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 bunch basil, chopped
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 300 g Tuscan cream cheese
- some salt and pepper
- possibly cooked ham
- possibly chicken
- possibly scampi
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Combine the olive oil, crushed garlic, and basil in a bowl. Halve the snow peas and cook in boiling water until al dente. Marinate the snow peas in the bowl and set aside. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, melt the cream cheese in a large pan or saucepan. If you’re serving it with scampi or other ingredients, fry them in the pan first. Now add the snow peas with all the marinade and the walnuts, and heat everything together until warm. Stir in the cooked pasta and season with salt and pepper.
