Pasta with feta tomato cream sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g pasta
  • salt water
  • 1 pack of feta cheese
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 5 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 small can of mushrooms, drained
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 slices of cooked ham
  • salt and pepper
  • chili
  • Paprika powder
  • possibly vegetable broth, instant
  • optional spice(s) of your choice
  • 1 tbsp oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

creamy sauce without strings!

Cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions. Finely chop the onions and the mushrooms. Cut the ham into small squares and fry with the mushrooms and chopped onion. Add 3 tablespoons of the tomato paste. Cut the feta cheese into small cubes and fry briefly (save 2-3 tablespoons for sprinkling if desired). Then deglaze with the cream and add the remaining tomato paste. Season to taste and serve with the pasta. Tip: The feta cheese makes the sauce very creamy; if you prefer a liquid sauce, you can either boil a little more vegetable stock and stir it in, or dilute it with passata. Fresh tomatoes also work well; you can fry them with the onions.
