Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g fresh leaf spinach
- 300 g minced meat, of your choice
- 1 pack of cream cheese spread
- 1 cup cream, or cooking cream
- 2 small onions
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 3 tsp vegetable broth, instant
- 200 ml milk
- 300 g penne or spaghetti
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Even for those who aren’t big spinach eaters!
Cook the pasta as usual until al dente. Trim the spinach leaves, removing any thick/long stems and roughly chopping them. Sauté the ground beef with the onions and garlic. Then add the spinach and sauté (cover the pan). When the spinach seems almost cooked, add the processed cheese, milk, cream, and broth. Season with salt and pepper, and you have a delicious, creamy pasta sauce that will delight not only spinach lovers. Tip: I’ve even swapped the amounts of spinach and ground beef before—it’s the “men’s version.”
