Pasta with sausage and tomato sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g spiral noodles
  • 250 g meat sausage
  • 1 tube(s) of tomato paste, approx. 200 g
  • 200 ml ketchup
  • 100 ml spice ketchup (curry spice ketchup)
  • 1 tsp vegetable stock powder
  • 200 ml water
  • 15 g curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

First, cook the pasta in lightly salted water and then let it dry for at least 30 minutes. Cut the sausage into small cubes. Then take a large frying pan and brush the bottom with a little oil. First, place the sausage cubes in the pan and then add the pasta. Fry everything for about 30 minutes. Turn occasionally and ensure the pasta is crispy but not too brown. For the sauce, put the tomato paste, ketchup, ketchup spice, stock powder, and curry powder in a small saucepan. Mix everything well and add water. The amount of water can be increased or decreased as desired, depending on how thick you would like the sauce. Bring the sauce to a boil briefly and serve with the freshly cooked pasta. A simple dish, even for children. A cucumber salad goes very well with it!
