Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 225 g oat flakes, fine
  • 250 ml milk
  • 20 g butter
  • 50 ml crème fraîche
  • 35 g sugar
  • 1 pinch(s) nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Let the oats soak in a bowl of water for 12 hours before cooking. The next day, drain the water from the oats and place them in a saucepan with milk and butter. Bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes (or until softened), stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, stir in the sugar, season with nutmeg and cinnamon, and stir in the crème fraîche.
