Tomato sauce with melted cheese and hunting sausage or beer ham, served with pasta
Cook the pasta as usual. Peel the onion and dice it into small cubes. Cut the sausage into large cubes. Melt the margarine in a saucepan, then sauté the diced onion until translucent, then add the diced sausage and fry. Stir in the tomato paste, dust with flour, and sauté briefly. While stirring constantly, gradually add the hot water until a creamy sauce forms. Season the mixture with vegetable stock and curry ketchup. If you like it spicier, season with pepper and salt if desired. Finally, stir in the processed cheese and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally so the sauce doesn’t stick. For visual appeal, I add a little parsley to the sauce before serving. If you like, you can serve it with a fresh salad of tomatoes and mozzarella.
