Peach compote grandma's style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g peach(s)
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 75 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and pit the peaches. Break open some of the stones, add the stones and sugar to the water, and bring to a boil. Add the peaches, bring back to a boil, and cook over low heat until soft. Remove the stones after cooking. Season to taste with sugar, if desired.
