Peach Melba Variant

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large peaches
  • 50 g syrup (sugar syrup)
  • 1 pack of ice cream (vanilla)
  • 4 tsp cognac
  • 250 g raspberries, fresh
  • 100 g sugar
  • whipped cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel and halve the peaches, and stew them briefly in a little sugar syrup. Divide the vanilla ice cream among four glasses, place a peach half on each, drizzle with cognac, and pour the raspberry puree over the top. Garnish with whipped cream. Raspberry puree: Strain the raspberries and mix with the sugar. Tip: Raspberry juice can be used instead of the raspberry puree, and canned peaches can be used instead of the stewed peaches.
