Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 1/4 cup(s) flour
  • ¾ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup(s) butter or margarine
  • ½ cup(s) peanut butter
  • ½ cup(s) sugar
  • ½ cup(s) cane sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ vanilla pod(s), including the pulp

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peanut butter cookies

Preheat the oven to 190°C (top/bottom heat). Mix the flour with baking soda and salt. Beat the butter or margarine until small peaks form. Add the peanut butter, sugar and raw sugar and beat everything together thoroughly. Now add the egg and vanilla seeds and beat everything together thoroughly again. Add the flour mixture and knead everything until it forms a compact dough. Form small balls from the dough, roll them (if desired) in sugar and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Flatten the balls slightly with a fork. Place the baking tray in the hot oven for about 10 minutes. Let the balls sit on the hot tray for about 1 minute before transferring them to a cooling rack. Tip: Use the same cup for measuring.
