Pear Applesauce

The perfect pear applesauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Apples
  • 500 g Pears
  • Sugar to taste
  • Water
  1. I still have some fruit left that doesn’t look so nice, it can be used well with fruit juice or fruit puree. Peel the pears and apples, remove the core and cut into pieces.
  2. Put the prepared fruit in a large saucepan, add a little water, not too much otherwise it will be too runny. Sugar to taste, add only a little sugar for ripe fruits.
  3. Let the ripe fruits boil briefly, remove from the heat and puree. Let the purée cool down.
  4. Serve the fruit puree as a compote or with plents. You can still use it as an ingredient in baking.
