Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 roll of topping dough (refrigerated shelf)
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened, for the mold
  • 4 large pears
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 200 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Grease a 32 cm diameter quiche dish well with butter; a springform pan is also suitable. Line the dish, including the rim, with the puff pastry. Peel the pears, quarter them, or cut them into eighths, and spread them thickly over the puff pastry. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25-30 minutes. Mix the egg, sugar, and cream to make a glaze and pour it over the cake after the pre-baking time. Bake again at the same temperature for about 30 minutes.
