Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pear(s)
  • ¼ liter of water
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel, quarter, and core the pears. Bring the water to a boil with the sugar and vanilla sugar, add the pears, bring the water back to a boil, and cook the pears over low heat until soft. Season to taste with sugar, if desired.
