Lightly crush the washed and well-drained sloes in a mortar and pestle. Some of the stones should also be crushed, giving the drink a pleasant aroma. Pour the puree into a pot. Add red wine, spices, and lemon zest and let it steep in a cool place for 3-4 days. Then filter everything and bring the liquid to a brief boil. Cool to 40°C (104°F) and then add the honey. Once completely cold, add the vodka. Bottle, seal tightly, and store in a cool, dark place.
