Peas and peppers in lime cream sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 small carrot(s), orange
  • 1 small heirloom carrot(s), purple
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 100 ml broth
  • 1 small bell pepper(s)
  • 1 cup peas
  • 100 ml cream
  • some lime juice
  • Sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and dice the carrots. Peel and dice the onion. Sauté both in oil, pour in the broth, and simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, wash, deseed, and dice the peppers. Add the peas and peppers, pour in the cream, and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Season to taste and serve.
