Penne with zucchini and bacon sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g penne
  • ½ onion(s), sliced
  • 3 zucchinis
  • 100 g bacon
  • 200 ml cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • olive oil
  • e.g. Parmesan, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the sliced ​​onion with olive oil. Wash and dice the zucchini. Cut the bacon into strips. Add the zucchini cubes and bacon strips to the pan and let them brown. Then add the cream and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 10 minutes. Cook the pasta in a pot of plenty of salted water, then drain and add to the sauce. Toss briefly and arrange on a platter. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
