Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter of freshly brewed peppermint tea
  • 500 ml apple juice, clear

refreshing, no added sugar necessary

After steeping, fill the freshly brewed peppermint tea (2 tea bags or fresh leaves) with clear apple juice in a 1.5-liter teapot and let it cool. Adding sugar isn’t necessary, which makes it particularly suitable for children. The sweetness can be easily adjusted by adjusting the tea-to-juice ratio. However, I recommend a 2:1 ratio to avoid overly sweet tea. As children, we always called the tea “dragon’s blood” because of its dark green-gold color when cooled, and we loved it.
