Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 lemon(s) or lime(s)
  • ½ tsp saffron threads or 1g saffron powder
  • 1 tbsp neutral vegetable oil (e.g. sunflower oil)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Judjeh Kebab

Cut the chicken breasts into large cubes. Squeeze the lemon. Soak the saffron threads in a little warm water and add them to the lemon juice. Add salt, pepper, and oil. Add the chicken to the marinade and let it marinate for a few hours. The meat is perfect for grilling. Serve with Persian basmati rice.
