Pesto arugula pasta with pine nuts and bacon

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g pasta
  • 1 jar Pesto Rosso e.g. B. from Barilla
  • 1 pack of pine nuts approx. 75 g
  • 250 g bacon cubes
  • 2 handfuls of arugula

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

super easy and delicious to prepare

First, cook the pasta. Halfway through the cooking time, take a pan and fry the pine nuts and bacon bits without any fat. Then stir the pesto into the pan and remove the pan from the heat. Stir everything well and add the arugula. (The arugula shrinks considerably in the heat.) Finally, add the drained pasta to the pan. Return the pan to the stovetop. Stir everything well and heat again until all the pasta is coated with pesto. The dish takes about 20 minutes to cook.
