Ingredients for 2 servings:
- ½ jar pesto, red, approx. 60 g
- ½ avocado(s)
- some tomato paste
- 1 shot of milk
- salt and pepper
- basil
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
vegetarian pasta sauce
Mash half an avocado and mix with pesto, tomato paste, and milk. Season to taste; I used only salt, pepper, and basil. Paprika also adds a nice touch. This sauce is best served with pasta; it’s delicious with meatballs.
