Pineapple-ginger dip

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 ml salad mayonnaise
  • 5 bulbs of ginger, pickled in syrup
  • 2 tbsp ginger syrup from pickled ginger
  • 140 g pineapple pieces or rings, with juice (1 small can)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Perfect as a barbecue sauce or for fondue….

Cut the pineapple into small pieces. Dice the ginger as finely as possible or press it through a garlic press. Add a little of the ginger syrup. Mix everything with the mayonnaise. If the consistency is too thick, stir in a little pineapple juice. Enjoy immediately.
