Pita bread with avocado and fried egg

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pita bread(s)
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • chili flakes
  • salt and pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1 tomato(s)
  • 1 mozzarella
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Toast the pita bread in the toaster until crispy. Mash the avocado flesh with a fork, mix with lime juice, and season with salt and pepper to taste (or garlic powder if desired). Spread the avocado mixture on the pita bread, drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and sprinkle with chili flakes. Top with tomato and mozzarella slices. Melt the butter in a pan, crack the eggs into it, and fry them for about 5 minutes. Place a fried egg on each piece of bread and enjoy warm. A quick snack or a different kind of dinner.
