Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 rolls (hot dog rolls)
  • 2 sausages (hot dog sausages or Vienna sausages)
  • 60 g cheese (sliced ​​cheese), e.g. Gouda
  • Pizza tomatoes, alternatively pizza sauce or ketchup
  • 40 g cheese, grated, e.g. mozzarella
  • 40 g salami

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pizza dogs are a delicious and easy-to-prepare symbiosis of hot dog and pizza.

Cut the hot dog buns lengthwise, but not all the way through. Cut the sausages lengthwise, but not all the way through. Cut the cheese into long, narrow strips and insert one of them into the cut opening of each sausage. Place the sausage in the bun and generously spread the pizza tomatoes on top. Sprinkle generously with grated cheese. Finally, add the salami slices. Bake the pizza dogs at 180°C (fan oven 160°C) for about 10 minutes, or grill on the lowest setting for about seven minutes.
