Pizza roll with minced meat

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pack of pizza dough (refrigerated shelf) with
  • tomato sauce
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 onion(s), finely diced
  • 1 roll, old or from the day before
  • 2 tbsp broth, granulated
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, finely chopped, possibly 2
  • ½ pack of frozen 8-herb herbs
  • 100 g Parmesan, freshly grated
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Soak the bread roll in water until it is thoroughly saturated. Then wring it out well. In a bowl, knead the bread roll with the minced meat, egg, granulated stock, onion, garlic, mustard, pepper, salt, and 8 herbs until it no longer sticks to your hands (you can also add a little more breadcrumbs if it’s still too sticky). Roll out the pizza dough with the baking paper side down and spread with the included tomato sauce. Spread the minced meat on top and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Roll up the pizza dough starting from the narrower side (note: don’t forget to remove the baking paper). Gently press the sides together, then brush with the egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (160°C fan oven) on the middle rack for about 45 minutes. Cut into approximately 2 cm thick slices and serve hot.
