Plum and Cinnamon Jam

The perfect plum and cinnamon jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1,5 kg Fresh plums
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 2 tbsp Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
  1. Wash the plums, cut in half, stone and cut into small pieces. Put the vanilla sugar, lemon juice and preserving sugar in a saucepan and simmer for about 20 minutes until the plums are soft enough.
  2. Add the cinnamon powder and blend in with the blender. Bring everything to a boil and cook for about 4 minutes. Then immediately pour into boiled jam jars (I had 4 + 250 ml, 1 + 200 ml and 3 + 150 ml ) and seal the jars.
