Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1.6 kg plum(s)
- 250 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 2 cloves
- 1 tsp vinegar (herb vinegar)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 pinch(s) white pepper
Instructions

Wash, halve, and pit the plums, then place them cut-side down in a saucepan. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon stick, cloves, vinegar, lemon juice, and pepper and let it steep overnight. Bring the plums to a boil, cover, and simmer over low heat for about two hours without stirring. Then simmer uncovered in a saucepan over high heat for another 30 minutes without stirring. Remove the cinnamon stick and cloves, immediately pour the plum jam into prepared, sterilized jars, seal tightly, turn upside down, and let stand with the lid on for about five minutes. Makes 4 jars, approx. 250 g each. One jar contains 355 kcal (1905 kJ).
