Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter white rum
  • 600 g plums
  • 200 g sugar
  • 3 packets of vanilla sugar
  • ½ stalk(s) cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 35 days; Total time approx. 35 days 30 minutes

Wash and pit the plums. Fill a large preserving jar with sugar, vanilla sugar, and white rum and stir briefly. Then add the washed and pitted plums and the cinnamon stick and stir again. Seal the jar and let it steep in a bright place for about 4-5 weeks. Stir occasionally.
