Plums – Ham – Pralines

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 ml red wine
  • 50 ml orange juice
  • 20 plum(s), dried
  • 60 g cheese (Pecorino) or Parmesan, in a piece
  • 5 slices of Parma ham (large slices)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Spicy-sweet antipasti

Heat the red wine and orange juice and soak the plums in it for 30 minutes. Cut the pecorino into small cubes (as many as there are plums). Cut the ham slices into four equal pieces. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Remove the plums from the wine, stuff the cheese pieces into the plums, and then tightly roll each one into a ham quarter. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the hot oven for about 10 minutes, until the ham is slightly crispy. Serve warm.
