Pointed cabbage pan with smoked pork

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 1 head of pointed cabbage
  • 500 g smoked pork
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp coarse mustard
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs to taste

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Simple and fast

Clean the carrots and cabbage and cut into bite-sized pieces. Pat the smoked pork dry and dice it. Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the carrots and smoked pork for about 3 minutes, turning occasionally. Add the pointed cabbage, deglaze with cream, and simmer covered for about 5-6 minutes. Then add the mustard and simmer briefly again. Season with salt and pepper and serve sprinkled with herbs.
