Pomeranian-style bean soup

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g beef (high rib)
  • 4 bones (broth bones)
  • 1 marrow bone
  • 1 ½ liters of water
  • 6 small roots
  • 1 ½ onions
  • 2 cans of beans (sharpened beans)
  • 1 tsp savory
  • 1 package of parsley (frozen)
  • n. B. Broth (stock cubes, for 1.5 l water)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the meat, stock bones, marrow bones, and stock cube in a large pot. Add water and simmer over medium heat for 50 minutes. Leave the lid on the pot. Remove the meat and bones and place the meat on a large plate. Add the roots, onions, beans, savory, and parsley to the pot and simmer for another 20 minutes. Now the meat can be diced and added back to the soup. Add salt and pepper to taste. Boiled potatoes are delicious with this soup.
