Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 500 g natural yogurt
- some oil
- 300 g poppy seeds
- 1 cup flour, smooth
- 1 packet of baking powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Beat the eggs and sugar until very fluffy. Add the yogurt, oil, and poppy seeds and continue beating well. Combine the flour and baking powder and gently stir in. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet or into a dish (mine is 36×25 cm) and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. Tip: Once cooled, either sprinkle with powdered sugar or spread a thin layer of jam and cover with a chocolate glaze.
