Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 pork fillet(s)
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- Herbs of Provence
- 1 package bacon, sliced
- Paprika powder
- Cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Cut the fillet into 3-4 cm thick slices. Season with pepper and salt and wrap each with a slice of bacon. Place the pieces of meat in a greased baking dish. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix the cream with the tomato paste, crushed garlic, herbs, and spices; the sauce should be a nice red. After 15 minutes, add the sauce to the meat. Continue cooking for about 45 minutes at 180°C (cover the dish if it starts to get too brown). Tastes great with baguette and salad.
