Pork fillet with cheese topping

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 slice(s) pork fillet(s)
  • 4 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 ml water
  • ½ tsp instant chicken broth
  • ½ pack of herb cream cheese, approx. 100 g
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Brown the fillets in the oil over high heat for about 2 minutes on each side. Season with salt and pepper and deglaze with water and cream. Stir in the broth and bring to a boil briefly. Place the fillets and the cream sauce in a baking dish. Spread the cream cheese over the fillets, then arrange the Gouda slices on top. Finally, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes. Tip: You can also use schnitzel instead of fillet.
