Pork fillet with cream cheese wrapped in ham

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g pork fillet(s)
  • 200 g Black Forest ham
  • 300 g cream cheese, depending on the amount of sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Briefly sear the pork fillets in a pan on all sides. Transfer the cream cheese to a microwave-safe container and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds until it becomes slightly runny. Stir in the garlic powder and stir well. Other seasonings can be added if desired. Place the Black Forest ham in a baking dish, place the seared pork fillet on top of the ham, and season with pepper. Spread the cream cheese over the pork fillet and wrap it in the ham. If you like a lot of sauce, you should increase the amount of cream cheese. Place in the preheated oven for approx. 40-45 minutes. Serve with fresh leaf salad, fries, or potatoes. Variations: For example, we placed bell peppers next to the fillet in the baking dish. The cream cheese melts, creating a great sauce. You can also use different types of cream cheese, such as paprika and pepperoni.
