Pork medallions, baked with onion and cream sauce

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g pork loin(s) (fillet)
  • 4 onions, cut into rings
  • 3 garlic cloves, finely diced
  • 200 g cream
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • olive oil
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the meat into medallions. Season with salt and pepper and sear on both sides in olive oil. Remove from the pan and place side by side in a baking dish. Sauté the onions in olive oil and add the garlic. Deglaze with white wine, cream, and crème fraîche. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and broth. Pour the sauce over the medallions and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 200°C for about 1/2 hour. Serve with salad and croquettes.
