Pork strips with apples

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g pork fillet(s)
  • 50 g clarified butter
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 onions
  • 250 ml cider (apple juice)
  • 500 ml meat broth
  • 3 apples
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 tbsp parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the pork fillet into thin strips. Finely chop the onions and garlic. Halve the apples, remove the cores, and cut into thin wedges. Sear the meat for about 5-7 minutes, season, and keep warm. Sauté the onions and garlic in the frying fat and deglaze with apple cider. Add the meat broth, apple pieces, and cream, and reduce by half. Add the cooked meat and reduce slightly. Sprinkle with parsley to serve. Serve with tagliatelle pasta.
