Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • ½ bulb(s) garlic, (fresh)
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pot of basil (large-leaf)
  • Salt
  • Pepper (black) from the mill
  • 50 ml white wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

also works without dairy products, very aromatic

Peel the potatoes and garlic and slice them 1 mm thin in a food processor. Grease a non-stick baking dish with olive oil and layer the potatoes, garlic, and basil. Season each layer with salt, pepper, and olive oil. The top layer should be potatoes. Add a little white wine, if desired. Cook in an oven preheated to 200°C (fan oven) for about 45 minutes. The potatoes should be golden brown and crispy on top, with no liquid left in the baking dish. Serve as a main course for two with a fresh salad; otherwise, it makes a delicious side dish for pan-fried dishes.
