Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp parsley, frozen
  • 1 tbsp cheese (Grana Padano), grated
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

baked mashed potatoes without milk

Peel the potatoes, cutting them into wedges if necessary. Boil them in salted water for about 20 minutes until tender. Drain and mash them with a potato masher. Stir in the butter, egg, parsley, and Grana Padano one after the other. Other cheeses are just as good, but should melt and bind in the warmth of the potatoes. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Preheat the oven to about 200°C. Shape the mashed potatoes into small balls or pipe them through a piping bag. Spread them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about half an hour.
