Fills you up well; also tastes delicious as a vegetarian option
Peel and wash the potatoes, and slice them into thin slices. Finely dice the shallots. Peel and press the garlic. Heat a little vegetable cream or oil in a non-stick pan and sauté the onions and garlic until lightly translucent. Add the minced meat and fry vigorously. Deglaze with a little water or vegetable stock if necessary, but do not use too much liquid. Add the raw potato slices to the minced meat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the cream and sour cream and season generously with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add about 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and some chopped parsley. Mix well. Dice the feta, fold in half, and spread the rest on top. Finish cooking in the oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. Kalamata olives or small vine tomatoes grilled in the oven also go very well with this dish.
