Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 garlic cloves
  • a little butter for the mold
  • 600 g potatoes
  • 300 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream
  • ½ tsp salt or seasoning
  • n. B. cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Halve the garlic cloves and rub them into the gratin dish. Grease the dish with butter. Wash, peel, and rinse the potatoes, then thinly slice or grate them. Arrange the potatoes and cheese in the gratin dish. Heat the milk, cream, and spices in a saucepan. Then pour over the potatoes to completely cover them. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C to 200°C for approximately 50 minutes. Serve hot.
