Potato gratin from the gas grill

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 750 g potatoes
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 200 ml cream
  • 300 ml milk
  • n. B. Nutmeg
  • e.g. salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Thinly slice the potatoes. This is best done with a mandoline. Brush a half garlic clove into an ovenproof dish. Layer the potato slices in the dish. Mix the milk and cream with the spices. Add as much salt as you like until it tastes too salty! Pour the mixture over the potatoes. Place it in the gas grill and simmer for 30-45 minutes from the first boil (approximately 200°C).
