Potato Snowballs!
The perfect potato snowballs! recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1200 g Potatoes boiled the day before
- 1,5 Pc. Grated onion
- 2 tablespoon Potato flour
- Salt and pepper
- Freshly grated nutmeg
- 1 Pc. Egg
- 1 bunch Freshly chopped chives
- 1 piece Cling film
- 4 liter Salted water
- The day before: Peel the potatoes, let them cool, cover with foil and put in a cool place. (Minimum 180 min.)
- Press the potatoes through the press.
- Peel and grate the onion and add to the batter.
- Add the spices, eggs, potato flour & chives, mix everything well. Roll dumplings with wet hands. Everyone has to decide the size for themselves.
- Bring the water to a boil, put in the snowballs and let them steep. Be careful not to let it boil. Approx. 20-25 min.
- I prefer to roll one up and test it, then I can add some strength if necessary.
