Potato soup for babies

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 3 large carrots
  • 4 medium-sized potatoes, floury
  • 1 tsp oil
  • n. B. water
  • little salt
  • some parsley, chopped
  • e.g. crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

from the 8th-9th month

From 8-9 months. First, dice the onion and sauté in oil in a small saucepan until translucent. Peel and dice the carrots and potatoes, and add them to the onions. Add a little salt, parsley, and water until the vegetables are covered. Bring to a boil once, then simmer on low heat for about 20 minutes. When the vegetables are soft, puree with a hand blender until it forms a creamy, smooth soup. Optionally, refine with a dollop of crème fraîche. Note: I get about 3 servings from this soup. If you leave out the onion and salt, it is also suitable for younger babies.
