fried spirals, ideal for parties
You’ll need a spiralizer and wooden skewers for this recipe. It’s really quite simple. Cut the raw potato, with or without skin, into a spiral using a potato spiralizer (mine is called Mr. Potato Twist). The machine then ensures that the potato is already wrapped around the wooden skewer. Now you can place the skewer in the deep fryer and heat it up with oil. Cook for about 5-10 minutes, until the potato is a nice golden brown. Drain on a kitchen towel and season with salt, paprika, garlic, or BBQ seasoning. A nice cheese dip would also go well with this.
