- Mashed potatoes / mashed potatoes
- Spinach ready-cooked
- Flour
- Salt and pepper
- Knead the mashed potatoes with spinach – here two tablespoons of spinach and four tablespoons of puree – with enough flour to make a smooth dough that is almost no longer sticky.
- Form small hazelnut balls out of the dough and place them on a board.
- Dip a fork in flour and use it to flatten the balls.
- Bring the water to the boil, salt it and cook the gnocchi in it until they rise to the surface.
- Take out, drain and then further process, that is, serve immediately with something, let cool on a tray and then freeze for further use, or fry in clarified butter until crispy.
- Of course, you can also make this gnocchi from pressed potatoes. They are then used in the same way as the puree.
