Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter
- 175 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 150 g flour
- 100 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 40 minutes
Combine the ingredients in a batter and pour it into a prepared baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 175°C (350°F) and bake for another 65-75 minutes. The cake is very moist and will keep for a good week. Tip: This cake can also be adapted into a marble cake (cocoa and sugar in 1/3 of the batter). It can also be frozen.
