Preserved Apple Wedges
The perfect preserved apple wedges recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- Apples
- Sugar
- Vanilla sugar
- Water
- I left the quantities open because everyone can take as much as they want. Core apples (firm variety) and cut into wedges and place in cold water so that they do not turn brown. Prepare the glasses and then fill in the wedges that are not too thin. If you like it very sweet, use a little more sugar, otherwise less. Add a little vanilla sugar and fill with water so that everything is well covered, close the jars and cook for about 30 minutes. That means from where the water is boiling, take the glasses out of the water for 30 minutes and let them cool on a towel. Since I boiled it down for the first time, of course I opened a glass to taste and I have to say the apples are real turned out well. Still nice and crunchy and that was important to me. Otherwise I can also cook mus. I can’t name the apple variety because I get the gift. Anyway, an old apple variety
