Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 300 g pork schnitzel
  • 2 onions
  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 200 g cream cheese, diced
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • n. B. herbs (e.g. chives, tarragon, marjoram etc.)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cut the pork into thin strips and marinate with mustard, honey, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Peel the onions and trim the mushrooms. Chop both finely. Fry the onions in a pan with oil until lightly browned, then add the mushrooms and fry for a while. Remove from the pan. If necessary, add a little more oil and heat it in the pan. Add the meat and fry until just cooked through. Remove from the pan. Deglaze the pan with 100 ml of water and add the coarsely diced processed cheese. Now add the onions and mushrooms back to the pan. Once the cheese has melted, add the meat and the remaining 100 ml of water and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, and herbs. Serve immediately. Noodles or rice go very well with this dish.
