Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 60 g chia seeds
  • 30 g psyllium husks
  • 30 g oat bran
  • 150 g protein powder
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tsp, heaped salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 275 ml water
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husks

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 28 minutes; Total time approx. 43 minutes

Low-carb

Mix the dry ingredients together. Whisk the eggs, quark, and water together, add to the dry ingredients, and mix well. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes. Mix together the flaxseed, psyllium husk, and sesame seeds. Divide the dough into 75g portions, roll in the seed mixture, and form into balls. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the rolls for 25-28 minutes at 180°C (350°F) on the middle rack of a preheated oven. For 12 rolls, 1 roll contains 125 kcal.
