Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary, dried
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 2 tbsp dried herbs of Provence
  • 1 tsp peppercorns, white
  • 1 tsp peppercorns, black
  • 2 chili peppers, fresh
  • 400 ml oil (sunflower oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

A nice gift idea

Rinse a bottle with hot water and let it dry. Peel and quarter the garlic and add it to the bottle along with the herbs, pepper, and chili peppers. Pour in the oil and let the herb oil infuse for about a week. Remove the herbs from the oil. Pour the oil through a sieve, pour into a dark bottle, and seal tightly. Stored in a cool, dark place (not in the refrigerator), the oil will keep for about 4-6 months. With a pretty label, the oil also makes a great gift idea.
