Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 120 g butter, room temperature
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 150 g flour
  • Salt
  • 1 kg apples, sour
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, baking-proof, vanilla flavor
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 50 minutes

For the dough, knead 100g butter, 50g sugar, egg yolk, flour, and a pinch of salt. Pour into a greased springform pan, press firmly, and slightly raise the edges. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes. Peel, quarter, and core the apples, and cut them tightly along the rounded sides. Drizzle with lemon juice. Prepare the custard with milk according to the package instructions. Spread the cream on the prebaked base. Top with apples. Sprinkle with 30g sugar and place 20g butter flakes on the apples. Bake for another 40 minutes. Allow to cool completely and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
